The nicest ending to a day... seeing a friend unexpectedly ! ;-)

Sunday afternoon the Wilmington Youth Orchestra and the Junior Strings played at Kenan Auditorium. The Junior Strings played two songs and the Wilmington Youth Orchestra played four. On one song Sejung An played a solo with the Youth Orchestra. A phenomenal performance. These pictures show how young she is, but do not do her justice in how well she plays. It was a very special ending to the weekend. I am very fortunate to have a daughter that is a member of the Junior Strings Orchestra. A friend in need

Saturday I had the privilege to spend time with a very generous group of guys. It was a beautiful day in Southeastern North Carolina. The kind of day you want to do something with your family or friends... and there was a host of Spring activities to choose... from watching their child play soccer to a Earth Day celebration at Hugh McRae Park or Rims on the River in downtown Wilmington, NC. These guys however decided to help a friend that needed it.
